Jared Dylan
Jared Dylan
Jared Dylan, who is currently living in Ireland for a few busy months to work with Irish musicians and producers on a documentary being produced by Zinc Media (Bob Geldof's production company) while he releases his latest collection of songs and tours the island before heading back to the states this summer for the launch of his single Can't Stop along with the two remixes. The first remix is by 2 time GRAMMY nominated producer and global DJ, Carmen Rizzo who recreates the Can't Stop vibe giving it that signature Ibiza dance until dawn sound. The second by John Gibbons, who has rapidly established himself as one of the leading faces in the dance music world, has just produced an exciting remix of Jared Dylan's single ' Can't Stop'. The 'Can't Stop' remix, available for streaming and download from 17 May, is an upbeat summer track about seizing the day and is set to bring on the summer in sonic style.

In an exciting and innovative move, Jared Dylan will release an animated video for each track from his upcoming concept album 'Consequence'. Each animated video, directed by Kevin Sharpley, the award winning film maker and graphic novelist, is a standalone short but when all music videos are are played back to back they create a short film.

'Can't Stop' will be the fist single from the album to be accompanied by a video from the series of animated video shorts. View teaser here. The first video finds Kid Dylan getting a mission from Stingray (voiced by Rami Jaffee of the Foo Fighters) and Mr. Pink (voiced by super producer Ran Pink) on his way to meeting his foil of the story the femme fatale Olivia Justice and battling toward completing his harrowing mission. The video series will be an action-packed, mystery filled journey with celebrity guest appearances, twists and turns, toward a surprise conclusion that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

The animated video series are a cross promotion with an ongoing project called “The Beach Chronicles” (thebeachchronicles.com) which debuted at the Miami Film Festival featuring actors Michael Chiklis, Tommy Flanagan, Daryl Hannah, Jimmy Jean Louis, rock star Rami Jaffee of the super group the Foo Fighters and more. Rami Jaffee and others will be reprising their roles for the Jared Dylan videos in “The Beach Chronicles” style.

To help launch the American release The Cutting Room in Manhattan will host a record release party on Wednesday, July 18 where Jared will perform the full Consequence album plus more.

Jared Dylan has already collaborated on his upcoming album 'Consequence' with Neville Staple (the Specials, Special Beat, Fun Boy Tree), Kemo the Blaxican (platinum selling hip hop artist from East LA) who are both featured on Party Goes All Night. Plus Cork Native Kilian Pettit of Echogram join Jared on guitar for Double Time.

Back home in the US, Dylan has already worked with some of the industry’s most notable writers, producers and studios including Danny Saber (David Bowie, Madonna, The Rolling Stones) and Carmen Rizzo (Coldplay, Seal, Alanis Morissette) plus LA studio The Fonogenics (Juliette Lewis, Kris Kristofferson, Micky Dolenz).

Having worked with a host of Irish musicians, Jared Dylan has just announced a tour of venues that have a very special connection to these Irish songwriters, all a must play for Jared as he continues to soak up the Irish culture and music roots. Jared will be performing in Wicklow, Dublin, Kilkenny Limerick, Cork and Galway. He will also join Paddy Casey as his special guest.

At the age of 23, New Jersey native Jared Dylan has already amassed a library of hundreds of original compositions. And 2018 is expected to be a year full of new music and exciting performances . Following a writing session with Paddy Casey at the historic Grouse Lodge Studios, Jared says “I feel inspired in Ireland and I feel like I am finally making the music I’ve always wanted to make.” Just the beginning of his Irish adventure, Jared plans to collaborate with many more Irish musicians while based here. From a young age, Jared was active in supporting Pathways for Exceptional Children, a program that mentors children with special needs. Jared began ‘Pathways Rock’ with the Executive irector, Melinda Jennis, forming America’s first ever all-inclusive rock band. Young people with and without disabilities came together to perform music.

Before leaving for college at University of Miami’s Frost School of Music’s Bruce Hornsby Creative American Music Program, Jared wrote enough original music to pique the interest of a composer/musician Eric Alexandrakis, who introduced Jared to Producer Anthony Resta (Elton John, Collective Soul, Duran Duran) in Massachusetts. This resulted in Jared’s first EP ‘IN PANIC’, packing a musical punch with elements of Brit-pop, 80s driven vocals and string ballads. The release of the EP and the tracks’ accompanying videos have garnered Jared a strong YouTube following.

‘Can’t Stop' is available across all digital platforms now and his album 'Consequence' is released this Summer.
