Nashville To New York is an evening of hit songs and the stories behind them. It is hosted by Hall of Fame songwriter Gary Burr and hit songwriter Georgia Middleman. When not performing solo, this husband and wife team also tours as Middleman Burr and as two thirds of the critically acclaimed group Blue Sky Riders along with Kenny Loggins.

Every Nashville to New York show features Gary and Georgia and two of their amazing songwriter friends, brought to the big city to entertain and thrill you with their songs and their tales of show business. GARY BURR
Gary Burr is a Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame member, ASCAP, Billboard and NSAI Country Songwriter of the Year. He’s had fifteen #1 hits and has written songs recorded by Faith Hill, Garth Brooks, Carole King, Ringo Starr, Reba McEntire, LeAnn Rimes, Christina Aguilera and Ricky Martin, Kelly Clarkson, Joe Cocker and many more. GEORGIA MIDDLEMAN
Hit songwriter Georgia Middleman has had her songs recorded by Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Kenny Chesney, Reba, Joe Nichols, Martina McBride, Sheila E., Radney Foster, Maia Sharp, Mark Chestnutt, Sarah Buxton, Terri Clark and many others. Her song “When The Right One Comes Along” was featured on the ABC hit TV show “Nashville.” Georgia has also released four cds of her own, including the recent jazz-infused collection of originals called “Plum.” www.georgiamiddleman.com

DANNY FLOWERS
Danny Flowers may be best known for having penned classic hits for other artists, but as a solo artist his bluesy blend of raw emotion combined with a heartfelt yearning will speak to your very soul. His writing credits span several genres and his flexibility as a guitarist and wordsmith is well-known. He penned “Tulsa Time” for Eric Clapton, which Don Williams also cut. Williams then had hits with “Back In My Younger Days,” “Senorita,” and “To Be Your Man.” Emmylou Harris recorded “Before Believing” as the title cut for her “Pieces of the Sky” album. “Gulf Coast Highway” was recorded by Emmylou and Willie Nelson as well as by Nanci Griffith and Evangeline. The list goes on.

GORDON KENNEDY
Gordon Kennedy won a Grammy Award for his song “Change The World” which he co-wrote with Wayne Kirkpatrick and Tommy Sims. He’s also a Grammy award winning producer for best pop instrumental album for Peter Frampton’s “Fingerprints.” Gordon has had cuts with Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, Don Henley & Stevie Nicks, Garth Brooks, Bruce Hornsby, Ricky Skaggs, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Alison Krauss, Nickel Creek, Peter Frampton, among many others. Some of the films where you can hear his songs are: “The Fox and the Hound II,” “Almost Famous,” “Phenomenon,” “The Banger Sisters,” “For Love of the Game,” “Tin Cup” and “Where the Heart is.”
