Project H Headhunters Edition is a funk/jazz instrumental group that celebrates the music of jazz icon Herbie Hancock and his group The Headhunters. It’s an exciting evening of the group’s most recognizable hits in addition to some deep cuts you probably haven’t heard in a long time, if at all. Brought to life by some of NYC’s most sought-after musicians, it’s tight and polished, with plenty of freedom for everyone to put their own stamp on this great music. Join us for a musical trip you won’t forget.

Bassist Leo Huppert has performed with many shows including In The Heights, Book of Mormon, Bandstand, Sister Act, as well as serving as bassist for Tony award winner and actress Sutton Foster. Currently, Leo is the bassist for Jersey Boys at New World Stages NYC.

Drummer Lee Finkelstein Lee currently tours the world with The Original Blues Brothers Band and has performed or recorded with Tower of Power and SNL Band, to name a few, as well as co-founding and leading his own band, Funk Filharmonik for the past 32 years.
