About Joe Satriani and G3:
World-renowned guitar virtuoso, JOE SATRIANI, releases his 16th solo album, What Happens Next, on January 12, 2018 via Sony/Legacy Recordings.  The album features a power trio of legendary status; SATRIANI on guitar and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee bassist Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple/Black Country Communion) and drummer Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), the latter reuniting with SATRIANI for the first time since their work in the supergroup Chickenfoot.

Just a day prior to the album release, SATRIANI revives his G3 tour entity, inviting Dream Theater’s John Petrucci and Def Leppard lead guitarist Phil Collen to join him on the U.S. portion. Joining Joe for both legs will be his touring band;  Mike Keneally ( Steve Vai) on guitars and keyboards, Bryan Beller ( Aristocrats) bass and  Joe Travers on drums (Dweezil Zappa).

About John Petrucci:
John Petrucci is the guitarist and a founding member of Dream Theater, the legendary progressive rock titans formed in 1985. John has seen the 2X Grammy-nominated band through many notable accomplishments, including multiple domestic as well as international top-ten releases, and numerous gold and platinum-certified DVDs. To date, Dream Theater has sold in excess of 12 million records worldwide. As the band's producer and principal songwriter/lyricist, John’s side projects include the instrumental prog-rock super group Liquid Tension Experiment with bassist Tony Levin (King Crimson, Peter Gabriel).  His first solo CD, Suspended Animation, was released to critical acclaim in 2005.

John's awards include the 2007 Guitarist of the Year as named by the readers of Total Guitar magazine, and Best Metal Guitarist in the 2010 and 2011 Reader's/Player's Choice Awards polls in Guitar Player magazine. In 2011, John was named one of the 20 greatest-ever metal guitarists in Total Guitar's poll as well as Best Guitarist in Classic Rock Presents Prog Magazine's 2011 reader's poll.

About Phil Collen:
Phil Collen joined Def Leppard in 1982, during the Pyromania album recording sessions.  Pyromania was the band’s breakthrough album spending the summer of 1983 at #2 on the Billboard charts, behind Michael Jackson’s Thriller. Pyromania sold in excess of 10 times platinum and received a Diamond award in the US and Canada.

The follow-up, Hysteria, became one of the best-selling rock albums of all time achieving 12 times platinum in the US and selling over 25 million albums worldwide.  Def Leppard received their second Diamond album putting them in an exclusive group of only six bands ever to achieve two Diamond albums in America.  Def Leppard was now among rock-n-roll’s elite which included The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Eagles, and Van Halen.

Collen also performs with his two other bands - Manraze, a modern day mix of punk, funk, rock, and reggae with bassist Simon Laffy formerly of the 70’s glam band Girl and legendary Sex Pistols’ drummer Paul Cook and Delta Deep, a blues rock n soul quartet featuring vocalist Debbi Blackwell-Cook, Stone Temple Pilots bassist Robert DeLeo, and all-star drummer Forrest Robinson.  Delta Deep’s 2015 self-titled release debuted on iTunes blues charts at #2. During the band's 2017 tour they recorded their performance at Daryl's House which will be released as a live album in January 2018 complete with DVD performance footage.
