Nashville To New York is an evening of hit songs and the stories behind them. Nashville To New York is hosted by Hall of Fame songwriter Gary Burr and hit songwriter Georgia Middleman. This husband and wife team is also two thirds of the critically acclaimed group Blue Sky Riders. Every Nashville to New York show features Gary and Georgia and two of their amazing friends, brought to the big city to entertain and thrill you with their songs and their tales of show business. Gary Burr is a Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame member, ASCAP, Billboard and NSAI Country Songwriter of the Year. He’s had fifteen #1 hits and has written songs recorded by Faith Hill, Garth Brooks, Carole King, Ringo Starr, Reba McEntire, LeAnn Rimes, Christina Aguilera and Ricky Martin, Kelly Clarkson, Joe Cocker and many more. A recording artist in his own right, Gary has released four cds including his most recent “Juggler’s Logic.”

Hit songwriter Georgia Middleman has had her songs recorded by Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Kenny Chesney, Reba, Joe Nichols, Martina McBride, Sheila E., Radney Foster, Maia Sharp, Mark Chestnutt, Sarah Buxton, Terri Clark and many others. Her song “When The Right One Comes Along” was featured on the ABC hit TV show “Nashville.” Georgia has also released four cds of her own, including the recent jazz-infused collection of originals called “Plum.”

Eric Kaz has countless gold and platinum writing credits for artists such as Patti Austin, Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt and many, many others. His amazing career includes four Top Ten country hits, four Top Ten A/C hits and the number one country hit for George Strait “I Cross My Heart”. Eric was a founding member of the group American Flyer with Craig Fuller and a recording artist for CBS Records, United Artists and Atlantic Records.

Wendy Waldman is a critically acclaimed recording artist and multiplatinum songwriter. Her hits include “Save The Best For Last” and “The Sweetest Days” by Vanessa Williams, “Fishin’ In The Dark” for the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, “I Owe You One” by Aaron Neville and many others. She is one of the first distinguished female record producers and a founding member of the group Bryndle featuring Kenny Edwards, Karla Bonoff and Andrew Gold.
