Nashville To New York is an evening of hit songs and the stories behind them. It is hosted by Hall of Fame songwriter Gary Burr and hit songwriter Georgia Middleman. When not performing solo, this husband and wife team also tours as Middleman Burr and as two thirds of the critically acclaimed group Blue Sky Riders along with Kenny Loggins.

Every Nashville to New York show features Gary and Georgia and two of their amazing songwriter friends, brought to the big city to entertain and thrill you with their songs and their tales of show business. GARY BURR

Gary Burr is a Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame member, ASCAP, Billboard and NSAI Country Songwriter of the Year. He’s had fifteen #1 hits and has written songs recorded by Faith Hill, Garth Brooks, Carole King, Ringo Starr, Reba McEntire, LeAnn Rimes, Christina Aguilera and Ricky Martin, Kelly Clarkson, Joe Cocker and many more. GEORGIA MIDDLEMAN

Hit songwriter Georgia Middleman has had her songs recorded by Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Kenny Chesney, Reba, Joe Nichols, Martina McBride, Sheila E., Radney Foster, Maia Sharp, Mark Chestnutt, Sarah Buxton, Terri Clark and many others. Her song “When The Right One Comes Along” was featured on the ABC hit TV show “Nashville.” Georgia has also released four cds of her own, including the recent jazz-infused collection of originals called “Plum.” www.georgiamiddleman.com

MIKE REID

Mike Reid, an All-American Outland Trophy winner at Penn State and an All-Pro defensive tackle with football’s Cincinnati Bengals, has had his songs recorded by Bonnie Raitt, Prince and Adele (“I Can’t Make You Love Me”), Tim McGraw, Ronnie Milsap, Collin Raye, Bette Midler, Don Williams, Billy Dean, Josh Turner, Anita Baker, Leon Russell, George Michael, Kenny Chesney, Jennifer Nettles, Alabama, The Judds and many others. He is a Grammy Award winner, and has been named ASCAP’s Writer of the Year. In 2005, Reid was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.

LIZ LONGLEY

Best known for her stop-you-in-your-tracks voice, Liz Longley is an accomplished singer-songwriter based out of Nashville. Liz has earned accolades from some of the most prestigious songwriting competitions in the country, including the BMI John Lennon Songwriting Scholarship Competition. Signed to Rounder Records, her latest album Weightless, was praised as “stunning” (HuffPost).
