Ryan Gibeau’s ‘Room Gets Hotter’ single release show, the first single off his upcoming debut album Quiet Fall, will be January 14th, 10pm at The Cutting Room. As a Brooklyn based singer/songwriter, Gibeau has made his rounds in NYC performing at many notable venues all leading to his next performance. Adding new music and dynamic elements along the way, from Rockwood Music Hall, to Webster Hall, now to The Cutting Room, Gibeau enjoys sonically curating each show to the styles of the venues, and The Cutting Room will be an exciting concert never before seen by fans and friends.

As a songwriter, Gibeau says his music draws from his past, confronting his own experiences with trust, expectations, support and hope in love, friendships and family. Whether it’s just Ryan and a guitar or he’s with a full band, as he will be at this upcoming Cutting Room show, Gibeau performs with a full heart and raw emotion to give audiences a visceral sense of where the music comes from. Gibeau says, “These struggles are written and performed acts of catharsis intended to connect with listeners and engage them to face their own conflicts, emotions, and remember that we’re all vulnerable human beings, all in one room, all trying to find our best selves, together.”

As a native of New Hampshire, Ryan has been living and developing his music in Brooklyn, NY since 2009. Initially, Gibeau focused solely on building his film production company, ROCK*iT FiLMS, though music was never too far in the wings. Gibeau teasingly shared, “The safe, fall back career of being a filmmaker, and the support of friends and family has continually pushed and allowed me to reach new performance heights and on January 14th the newest achievement will be reached.”

A thankful Gibeau gives much credit to Clint Edwards who contributed all sting arrangements, “without Clint’s brilliant collaborations, string music would remain a dream addition to my music. Instead he made this our collective reality.” He added that would like to thank everyone who attends, has attended, and who has shared and supported shows in the past. “There is sincerely no success without you.”
