Patterned after the famous “In The Round” writer nights at the Bluebird Café in Nashville, Nashville To New York is hosted by Hall of Fame songwriter Gary Burr and hit songwriter Georgia Middleman. Every Nashville to New York show features Gary and Georgia and two of their amazing friends, brought to the big city to entertain and thrill you with their songs and their tales of show business. Gary Burr is a Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame member, ASCAP, Billboard and NSAI Country Songwriter of the Year. He’s had foureen #1 hits and has written songs recorded by Faith Hill, Garth Brooks, Carole King, Ringo Starr, Reba McEntire, LeAnn Rimes, Christina Aguilera and Ricky Martin, Kelly Clarkson, Joe Cocker and many more. A recording artist in his own right, Gary has released four cds including his most recent “Juggler’s Logic.”


Hit songwriter Georgia Middleman has had her songs recorded by Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Kenny Chesney, Reba, Joe Nichols, Martina McBride, Sheila E., Radney Foster, Maia Sharp, Mark Chestnutt, Sarah Buxton, Terri Clark and many others. Her song “When The Right One Comes Along” was featured on the ABC hit TV show “Nashville.” Georgia has also released five cds of her own, including the recent jazz-infused collection of originals called “Plum.”


Gary Nicholson is a number one hit songwriter, two-time Grammy winning producer, recording artist, world traveling performer and session guitarist. He was inducted into the Texas Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in 2011. There are over six hundred recordings of his songs in various genres including country, rock, blues, folk, bluegrass, and pop with cuts by Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Garth Brooks, George Strait, George Jones, Vince Gill, Emmylou Harris, Trisha Yearwood, Ringo Starr, Don Williams, Buddy Guy, Delbert McClinton, Etta James and many, many more.


Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame member, Sharon Vaughn’s first self-penned song, “Y’allCome Back Saloon” became a massive hit for the Oak Ridge Boys in 1977. It was then followed by the iconic, “My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys” by Waylon Jennings and subsequently by Willie Nelson for the Oscar-winning soundtrack of “The Electric Horseman” film. Sharon has had over two hundred of her songs recorded, including #1 hits by Keith Whitley and Lorrie Morgan, Patty Loveless, Randy Travis, Trisha Yearwood and many others while also having pop hits all over the world including Agnes’ “Release Me” and Japan’s International Song Of the Year “Rising Sun.”
