Four songwriters on stage taking turns performing their work, Nashville To New York is hosted by Hall of Fame songwriter Gary Burr and hit songwriter Georgia Middleman. This husband and wife team is two thirds of the critically acclaimed group Blue Sky Riders. Every Nashville to New York show features Gary and Georgia and two of their amazing friends, brought to the big city to entertain and thrill you with their songs and their tales of show business. Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame member. ASCAP, Billboard and NSAI Country Songwriter of the Year, Gary has written fifteen #1 hits and has had songs recorded by Faith Hill, Garth Brooks, Carole King, Ringo Starr, Reba McEntire, LeAnn Rimes, Christina Aguilara and Ricky Martin, Kelly Clarkson, Joe Cocker and many more. He is a member of the group Blue Sky Riders with Georgia Middleman and Kenny Loggins.

Georgia Middleman has had songs recorded by Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Faith Hill, Reba McEntire, Joe Nichols, Martina McBride, Sheila E., Radney Foster, Maia Sharp, Mark Chestnutt, Sarah Buxton, Terri Clark and many others. She recently had her song “When The Right One Comes Along” featured on the ABC hit TV show “Nashville.” Georgia is one third of the trio, Blue Sky Riders with Kenny Loggins and Gary Burr (, half of the husband and wife duo Middleman Burr ( and currently in the studio working on her fourth solo cd.

Inducted into the Nashville Songwriter Hall Of Fame in 2012, Tony Arata is one of country music’s most respected and prolific writers. His songs have been recorded by Bonnie Raitt, Delbert McClinton, Emmylou Harris, Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood, Don Williams, Lee Roy Parnell and many others. Patty Loveless took his song “Here I Am” to #1 and Garth Brooks has recorded seven of Tony’s songs. Brooks’ recording of “The Dance” won Song of The Year at The Academy of Country Music Awards and was nominated for a CMA and Grammy. “The Dance” remains one of country music’s most enduring and beloved songs.

Dennis Matkosky’s songs have appeared on over 70 million records and have been nominated for an Oscar, two Grammys, two Dove Awards and a Golden Globe. He wrote the No. 1 AC hit, "Heart of Mine" for Boz Scaggs, and followed that with the Smokey Robinson and Kenny G No. 1, "We Saved The Best For Last." His country breakthrough came with the No. 1 smash, "I Need You." A career song for Le Ann Rimes, it crossed over to become the third longest-running single in AC history. Other hits include Keith Urban's "You'll Think of Me," Reba McEntire's "You're Gonna Be," Martina McBride's "I Just Call You Mine," and newcomer David Nail's recent chart-topping debut, "Red Light".” all the way to the 20-million selling Flashdance classic, "Maniac."
