The Nuff Brothers are a group made up of top NYC studio and touring musicians. They have been playing clubs and concerts in and around the New York City area Individually, they are:
LOU MARINI Sax
Lou is an original member of the Satirday night live band, and a founding member of the”Blues Brothers” appearing in both Blues Brothers movies.In addition , he has worked with Steely Dan, and Aretha Franklyn
David Spinozza Guitar
David is a composer, Producer and Has played on recordings by Don McLean, John Lennon, Paul Simon, Paul McCartney and Dr John. Produced the James Taylor album”Walking Man” He is a member of the group L’image, with Mike Manieri, Warren Bernhardt, Steve Gadd and Tony Levin
Stu Woods Bass
Stu is a longtime NYC studio musician who has recorded with Bob Dylan,Jim Croce,Todd Rundgren, Bette Middler, Barry Manilow,Dr John, and has Played with the Blues Brothers Band in Europe
Keith Carlock Drums
Keith has recorded with Steely Dan, Wayne Krantz, Grover Wasington jr. Harry Belafonte, Paula Abdul, Bette Middler, Leni Stern and Richard Bona.He has also toured with Steely Dan and with Sting.
Kenny Asher Keys
An award winning composer and arranger, Kenny has recorded with John Lennon, Barbara Streisand, Paul Simon, Carly Simon, Aretha Franklyn and Billy Joel.
He has won a Golden Globe award for his work on Barbara Streisand’s “A Star Is Born”
Lawrence Feldman Sax
In 2007 the Magazine “Windplayer” did an extensive interview with Lawrence, but a week before the article was to come out the Magazine went out of business. No further details are known
Glen Drews Trumpet
Glen DrewesGlen Has played with Jazz greats Woody Herman, Buddy rich, Dizzy Gillespie Gerry Mulligan, as well as Michael Jackson, Madonna Harry Connick jr. and P Diddy. Glen has also been the Trumpet voice for Sesame street for seventeen years.
Birch Johnson Trombone
Birch has played with Woody Herman’s band, as well as with Donald Fagen. He has also played with the Blues Brothers band, and played in the pit of Hairspray: on Broadway.
Tommy “Pipes” McDonell Vocalist
Tommy was the lead vocalist with the Blues Brothers Band for many years. He has recorded with Dr. John, Cissy Houston, Darlene Love. Tommy is also one of New Yorks top Jingle singers, and has recorded music for the children’s TV program “Shining Time Station”
